This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the jacketed optical fibers which are structured by applying polyamide resin or the like to silica glass single-mode optical fibers, silica glass multimode optical fibers, multi-optical fibers as the secondary covering, hereafter referred to as the "jacketed optical fibers".
