This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies a.c. arc welding machines, mainly consisting of single-phase transformers at a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz. However, those specified by JIS C 9314 are excluded. This standard does not specify the attached devices (voltage reducing devices, remote current control devices, etc.) integrated in welders.
