This Standard specifies wires of Ti-Ni shape memory alloy cold work finished for being used as superelastic spring, temperature sensitive actuator and the like. The standard chemical composition of Ti-Ni shape memory alloy determined in this Standard is Ni of 53.5 to 57.5 mass fraction (%) and Ti of residue.
