This Standard specifies the pipe fittings to be used for jointing crosslinked polyethylene (PE-X) pipes to be mainly used for indoor piping for water works of which the working pressure is not more than 0.75 MPa specified in JIS K 6787. The crosslinked polyethylene pipe fittings shall be in accordance with JIS K 6770.
