This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies assembly, adjustment and inspection procedures for the binding mechanism, integrating in a practical way the requirements of the standards given in clause 2. This Standard is intended for all individuals and institutions which are concerned with the above-mentioned procedures, and especially sport retailers. It applies to a ski-binding-boot system (S-B-B) for alpine skiing, in which at least one component is owned by the user.
