This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies lifting platforms and wheelchair lifting tables of vertical lifting type, mainly used inside or around a resident, with a lifting stroke not exceeding 2 m and a maximum load of less than 250 kg, intended for such persons as requiring aid of wheelchair or having difficulties going up/down stairs unassisted.
