This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the method for evaluating performance characteristics and the method for periodic checks of the ultrasonic pulse-echo testing systems that are composed of the combination of the manually controlled ultrasonic test instrument having a basic display based on an ultrasonic pulse-echo technique and a probe.
