This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies, out of the personal dosemeters specified in JIS Z 4332, the film badges for measuring the 1 cm dose equivalent, 3 mm dose equivalent and 70 mum dose equivalent which a person received from outside of his body by hard X-ray of 0.3 MeV to 3 MeV in effective energy and gamma-ray of 0.3 MeV to 3 MeV in photon energy, and the methods for calculating those dose equivalents by using these film badges.
