The equipment covered by this specification shall receive interrogations from X-band radars and transmit a reply to the interrogation on another frequency within the X-band. It shall also transmit X-band pulses when triggered by the associated equipment in the \"All-Weather Carrier Landing System (ACLS)\" mode of operation.
