NEN-EN 1459-1+A1 specifies the safety requirements of self-propelled variable-reach rough-terrain trucks (hereafter referred to as trucks), intended to handle loads, equipped with a telescopiclifting means (pivoted boom), on which a load handling device (e.g. carriage and fork arms) is fitted.
