Dit National Application Document (NAD) geeft richtlijnen voor het gebruik in Nederland van NVN-ENV 1992-2 Eurocode 2 - Ontwerp en berekening van betonconstructies - Deel 2: Betonnen bruggen. Tevens geeft dit NAD de voor Nederland geldende waarden van de in NVN-ENV 1992-2 gegeven parameters met omkaderde waarden ("boxed values"). In grote lijnen kan de combinatie van NVN-ENV 1992-2 en dit NAD als alternatief worden gebruikt voor NEN 6723 Voorschriften Beton - Bruggen (VBB 1995). Nadrukkelijk wordt vermeld dat NEN 6723 hiermee niet is vervallen.
