Diese Europäische Norm ist ein Teil der Normenreihe mit dem Haupttitel "Bitumen und bitumenhaltige Bindemittel" und legt ein Verfahren fest, das es ermöglicht, die dynamische Viskosität von bitumenhaltigen Bindemitteln quantitativ festzustellen. Als dynamische Viskosität, gilt das Verhältnis der aufgebrachten Schubspannung zum Geschwindigkeitsgefälle; es wird in Pascalsekunden (Pa.s) angegeben. Dieses Verfahren wird üblicherweise in Temperaturbereichen zwischen 50 grad C und 250 grad C angewendet.
