Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Prüfung der Dichtheit von Einzelmuffen aus weichmacherfreiem Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-U), Doppelmuffen aus PVC-U und Formstück-Muffen aus PVC-U mit elastomeren Dichtringen fest. Sie ist anwendbar auf Steckmuffenverbindungen mit elastomeren Dichtringen nach EN 1452-2 oder ISO 4422-2, die für die Verwendung mit PVC-U-Druckrohren vorgesehen sind.
