This International Standard applies to circulators used in optical fiber technology and have all of the following features: - They are not reciprocal optical components, where each connector is either an optical fiber or an optical connector; - they are passive components according to the classification and the specifications in IEC / TS 62538; They have three or more ports for directional transmission of optical power.
