Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM legt die Terminologie und Prüfverfahren fest, nach denen die Merkmale von Einzelphotonen-Emissions-Tomographen, basierend auf einer Einkristall-Gamma-Kamera mit rotierenden MESSKÖPFEN und Parallelloch-Kollimatoren, anzugeben sind. Da diese Systeme auf Einkristall-Gamma-Kameras basieren, ist dieser Teil der Norm IEC 61675 in Verbindung mit IEC 60789 zu benutzen. Diese Systeme bestehen aus einem Stativ, einem oder mehreren MESSKÖPFEN und einem Computersystem in Verbindung mit Geräten zur Datenerfassung (Akquisition), Aufzeichnung und Wiedergabe. Dieser Teil von IEC 61675 legt ausserdem die Prüfbedingungen für die Angabe der Merkmale von im Koinzidenzmodus betriebenen Einzelphotonen- Computertomographen fest.
