Bellcore's view of proposed generic requirements for Network Elements (NEs) and Test System Controller/Remote Test Units (TSC/RTUs) supporting ISDN Basic Rate Access (BRA) testing. It identifies functions and features that, in Bellcore's view, should be included in the TSC/RTU, ISDN switch, and/or other NEs (e.g., DLC system components) to support BRA testing. This document is a module of the OTGR, FR NWT-000439 and is part of OTGR subset, FR NWT-000476. Provides information needed to support ISDN Basic Rate Access (BRA) testing in the tandem architecture. It is a companion document to TR NWT-000834, Issue 4, Rev. 2, 4/93, which contains modified Transaction Language 1 (TL1) messages to support ISDN BRA testing of Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) on tandem architectures.
