Bellcore Client Companies (BCCs) may choose to use Quality and Reliability (Q&R) information to help assure the quality of the products and services they buy and as input to their procurement decisions. This information helps a BCC when the effects of Q&R on total costs of procuring, operating, and maintaining products are considered. This document proposes generic requirements regarding Q&R data and would be used by a BCC whenever comprehensive requirements are appropriate. Addresses: a suppliers system for collecting and reporting data; how a supplier should respond to a BCC request for Q&R data (by completing and returning standard report forms).
