This standard applies to electronic devices intended to help the detection of MOB situations, and warning and helping the victim´s own boat nearby vessels and SAR teams in the rescue operations of the sailor.In order to achieve this, the system consists of two separate parts a personal device carried by each of the sailors and a central device installed on the vessel.This system can be used on any kind of boat, offshore platforms or areas where a person may be in danger of falling overboard.
