Esta norma europea especifica los requisitos, los criterios básicos de funcionamiento y la evaluación de la conformidad de las viguetas de hormigón armado o pretensado de peso normal de acuerdo con la Norma EN 1992-1-1:2004, con o sin forro cerámico, utilizadas conjuntamente con bovedillas según los proyectos de Norma prEN 15037-2 o prEN 15037-3 o prEN 15037-4 o prEN 15037-5, con o sin hormigón colocado in situ para la construcción de sistemas de forjado y de cubiertas con vigueta y bovedilla.
