Covers two alternative procedures to determine hygroscopic sorption properties of porous building products and materials: a) using weighing cups and desiccators (desiccator method) b) using a climatic chamber (climatic chamber method) The desiccator method is the reference method. Does not specify the procedure for sampling. The specified procedures can determine the moisture content of a sample in equilibrium with air of a specific humidity and temperature.
