Esta parte de la Norma ISO 5667 proporciona orientaciones relativas a la conservación, manipulación y almacenamiento de las muestras de lodos procedentes de estaciones depuradoras de aguas residuales y estaciones de potabilización de aguas, de materias en suspensión, de sedimentos de aguas saladas y de sedimentos de aguas dulces, hasta el momento en que pueda efectuarse en el laboratorio el correspondiente examen químico, físico, radioquímico y/o biológico.
