Specifies grid systems for printed circuits to facilitate interchangeability of components for mounting on printed circuit boards. Two grid systems are specified, one on a 2.54 mm grid and the other on a 0.1 mm grid extended in both directions. The Standard is technically identical with IEC Publication 97:1970.
