Health Level Seven (HL7) is the American National Standard for electronic data exchange in health care enviroments Draft Australian Standards DR00046,DR00047 and DR00048 cover the implementation of HL7 Version 2.3.1, which supersedes HL7 Version 2.3. DR00046 covers patient administration, DR00047 covers pathology orders and DR00048 covers pathology results for registries.
