This specification covers the general requirements for adhesive-backed, pigmented, elastomeric marking materials (see 6.1) in roll and sheet form. Requirements for individual markers, (i.e., letters, numerals, legends, symbols, and hazardous material symbols) are covered by the specification sheets.
