This specification covers the general requirements for the design, development and preproduction testing of Linear Shaped Charge (LSC) Assemblies to be utilized for Aircrew Escape Systems. A shaped-Charge Assembly consists of a length of linear shaped charge supported by a housing (retainer) two booster tips (one at each end), and such fittings as are needed for attaching to other explosive assemblies.
