Gives general requirements for molded silicone rubber boots which can be used on component parts and rotary-actuated parts such as rotary switches, variable resistors, inductors, capacitors, and transformers. The boots protect the component parts-actuating mechanism from contaminants, and seal the panel on which the parts are mounted.
